End to cadre deployment (practice)
The Zondo commission found the ANC’s cadre deployment policy unlawful and unconstitutional as it contributed to state capture. To remove the ANC’s cadre deployment policy is proving to be difficult. The Gauteng High Court dismissed the DA’s application that the ANC policy of cadre deployment be declared unconstitutional and unlawful.
