Introduce e-voting gradually
Advocacy for electronic voting has been gaining traction in line with digital transformation. In March 2025, the IEC hosted an e-voting conference in Cape Town to explore the possibilities of electronic voting. The conversation was guided by a policy discussion document produced by the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) for the IEC.
